McGrory Glass is pleased to announce that they are now stocking FireLite by Technical Glass Products. The FireLite Products have become the clear product of choice in fire rated doors and windows. McGrory offers all FireLite Products in Standard or Premium Grade options and are available cut to size directly from our East Coast facility.

FireLite Ceramic Glazing

FireLite is a 3/16" (5 mm) thick fire-rated glazing material. It is listed for use in non-impact /non-safety-rated locations such as transoms and borrowed lites with fire rating requirements ranging from 20 to 90 minutes.

  • Fire-rated up to 90 minutes w/ hose stream test
  • Clear, wireless glass ceramic
  • Withstands thermal shock
  • Passes positive pressure test standards UL 10C, UBC 7-2 and UBC 7-4
  • May be lightly sandblasted or etched on one side without affecting fire rating
  • It is listed for use in non-safety fire-rated applications.

FireLite NT: Filmed Safety-Rated Ceramic Glazing

FireLite NT is a 3/16” (5mm) fire-rated, safety rated glass ceramic with a
surface applied film. FireLite NT meets both Category I and II impact safety requirements and is listed for use in doors, sidelights, transoms and borrowed lites with fire rating requirements ranging from 20 minutes to 3 hours.

  • Fire-rated up to 90 minutes (3-hours in doors) w/ hose stream test
  • Clear, wireless glass ceramic
  • Withstands thermal shock
  • Passes positive pressure test standards UL 10C, UBC 7-2 and UBC 7-4
  • May be lightly sandblasted or etched on one side without affecting fire rating
  • Impact safety-rated -- meets ANSI Z97.1 and CPSC 16 CFR1201 (Cat. I and II)

Note: This product is not a barrier to radiant heat. This product does not meet test standards ASTM E-119 or UL 263. If your jurisdiction requires a "barrier to heat" product, please see Pyrostop by TGP.

FireLite Plus: Laminated Safety-Rated Ceramic Glazing

FireLite Plus® is a 5/16" (8 mm) thick laminated fire-rated and impact safety rated glazing material. It is listed for use in doors, sidelites, transoms and borrowed lites with fire rating requirements ranging from 20 minutes to 3 hours.

  • Fire-rated up to 90 minutes w/ hose stream test
  • Clear, wireless glass ceramic
  • Withstands thermal shock
  • Passes positive pressure test standards UL 10C, UBC 7-2 and UBC 7-4
  • May be lightly sandblasted or etched on one side without affecting fire rating
  • It is listed for use in non-safety fire-rated applications.
